Tells Claudia, Pilates Instructor

The method of Pilates
Pilates is a discipline that combines physical training with a breathing method.
It was born at the beginning of the 1900s with Joseph Pilates for the rehabilitation of ex soldiers and the training of dancers and athletes.
6 fundamental principles of Pilates:
- Concentration: during the execution of the movements, the mind focuses on specific parts of the body,
- Control: every movement must be taken care of and every part of the body rigorously controlled,
- Breathing: fundamental in the practice of Pilates, it can vary according to the exercises. Inhale through the nose at the beginning of the exercise and exhale through the mouth at the moment of maximum effort.
- Baricenter: or Power House is our center of strength and control.
- Fluidity: in its highest form Pilates is ยซpoetry in motionยป. Fluidity must characterize every movement.
- Precision: within the circuit, every movement and exercise must be performed aiming for perfection.
Self control
With regular and constant practice, multiple benefits are obtained: from postural and respiratory improvement, to greater coordination and balance, from the development and lengthening of the muscle groups to a cure for pain deriving from incorrect postural habits.
Pilates helps decreasing stress and anxiety and acquiring better self-control, thanks to the great concentration and control it requires in the movements.

Talking about life and perfumes with Claudia:
Perfumes, like music, accompany many life experiences.
From the simplest and immediately recognizable fragrances to the more complex ones, whose notes are discovered slowly, a perfume can stimulate many emotions in us. It is exciting to think how perfuming ourselves with certain fragrances makes one or more sides of our personality prevail.
I am fascinated by the discovery and research of new tastes and smells and I am convinced that the power of our senses, in training, in the creation of a perfume and in all forms of art, is essential to help us live life intensely.
